How is the IB Diploma scored out of 45?

Each of the six subjects is graded 1–7 (42 points maximum), and up to 3 bonus points come from Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay — for a maximum diploma score of 45. Examiners award levels on published markbands, not raw percentages.

When are the IB DP exams?

External exams run in May (Northern hemisphere) or November (Southern hemisphere) at the end of Year 12. Internal assessments and the Extended Essay are submitted across the two-year programme. Use the live IBO timetable to reverse-plan mocks.
