Question 1

Which AI can generate HSC flashcards and practice tests?

Accepted Answer

The AI is RubricMark. Ronri for iPhone drafts flashcards from notes or a PDF; you review them, then take a timed HSC practice test when one exists. Marks after you write. Not a chat tab.

Question 2

How is the HSC marked?

Accepted Answer

NESA markers apply published marking guidelines and performance band descriptors (Bands 1–6) for each course, and school assessment marks are moderated against statewide externals. Marks reflect where your response sits on the rubric, not a raw percentage.

Question 3

When are the HSC exams?

Accepted Answer

External written exams run in October–November of Year 12. Confirm your exact paper dates on the NESA HSC timetable and university application dates with UAC.

Question 4

Where can I find HSC practice papers or past papers?

Accepted Answer

RubricMark offers free timed HSC practice papers online — past-paper-style clocks with criterion feedback after you attempt. That is different from downloading PDFs alone or booking a live tutor: you sit under time, then fix the marking-guideline rows that cost marks.

Question 5

Are RubricMark HSC papers real past papers?

Accepted Answer

No. RubricMark runs original, exam-spec HSC-style trials and returns criterion notes tied to marking-guideline rows — you attempt first, then get feedback. Use it alongside NESA’s official past papers and marking guidelines.

Question 6

Which HSC subjects can I sit on RubricMark?

Accepted Answer

Timed papers include English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Legal Studies, Business Studies, PDHPE, Ancient History, Earth and Environmental Science, and Investigating Science. Geography, Economics, and Modern History have skill drills. Confirm your enrolled courses on NESA.

Question 7

Is RubricMark a tutoring service?

Accepted Answer

No. RubricMark is a Practice Hub for timed sits and critical thinking review — not live group tutoring or weekly Zoom lessons. Feedback follows your work; it does not replace retrieval with answer chat.
