Question 1

How long is the LANTITE test?

Accepted Answer

Each LANTITE component is 120 minutes with 65 questions. Literacy and Numeracy are booked separately. The course and both practice tests are at rubricmark.com/lantite. A$5 opens that page, separate from Super and Max. Confirm booking on the ACER LANTITE site.

Question 2

What is LANTITE?

Accepted Answer

LANTITE is ACER’s Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education. It has two separately bookable components — Literacy (65 questions, 120 minutes) and Numeracy (65 questions, 120 minutes) — that ITE students must pass to meet the standard.

Question 3

Where can I find a LANTITE practice test?

Accepted Answer

The LANTITE practice test and the course are on this page. Literacy and Numeracy are each 65 questions and 120 minutes. A$5 opens the full course and both papers. Super and Max include this exam. A single pass opens only this exam. Book the component on the ACER site.

Question 4

What is the LANTITE numeracy calculator rule?

Accepted Answer

Numeracy is mostly calculator-available, but a short non-calculator section (13 of 65 items) locks the on-screen calculator. Practising that section under timed conditions is where many candidates lose marks.

Question 5

How do I prepare for the LANTITE practice test?

Accepted Answer

Work through the literacy or numeracy course on this page, then start that paper. Each component is 65 questions and 120 minutes. A$5 opens the full course and both papers, separate from Super and Max.

Question 6

Is RubricMark LANTITE tutoring?

Accepted Answer

The course and the timed papers are on this page. Review the questions you missed, then try a comparable set. A$5 opens the full course and both papers.
