越来越 (yuè lái yuè) describes a quality or condition changing over time. 越……越…… links two changing conditions: the more one happens, the more the other happens.
天气越来越暖和。
Tiānqì yuè lái yuè nuǎnhuo.
The weather is getting warmer and warmer.
越练习，越熟悉。
Yuè liànxí, yuè shúxī.
The more you practise, the more familiar it becomes.
越来越 does not name a comparison partner. Use 比 when comparing two particular things.
