Demo session: 15 minutes with Daily Practice Packs and a similar example
A runnable script: open a school-year pack, attempt cold, study one similar example if needed, check, then advance. Use the interactive demo, then run it live in Study Lab.
This is a runnable walkthrough. First click through the interactive demo, then repeat the same beats live on Daily Practice Packs.
Live script (15 minutes)
- 0:00 — Open the pack composer. Pathway: School years. Pick year, Maths or Reading, time (start with 10 min), and one skill.
- 0:01 — Start today’s pack. Sign in if needed. Land in the runner on question 1.
- 0:01–0:03 — Cold attempt. Write working. Do not open Example yet.
- 0:03 — Optional Example. If method is blank, tap Example (not Rubi). Study the twin. Close it.
- 0:05 — Solve your item. Check answer. Fix one miss immediately.
- 0:08–0:14 — Finish the pack. Same rule each question: cold try → twin if needed → produce.
- 0:14 — Note the Next rung. Tomorrow start on the suggested skill if today’s pack was solid.
Parent / tutor observation checklist
- Did they produce working before opening help?
- Was Example used as a twin, or as a crutch for the same numbers?
- Was Rubi reserved for nudges, not full solutions?
- Did they stop at one pack, or spiral into a full mock when tired?
What success looks like tomorrow
Unassisted: same skill family, fewer Example opens, cleaner method lines. That is the metric — not how fast the AI finished the page.
Bottom line
Sample design → twin worked example → fresh attempt. Run it daily on short packs; prove it later on mocks. That is mastery practice inside Study Lab.
