STAT scores and university use: prepare with evidence, not rumours
Understand how STAT results are reported and let each institution’s rules drive your timeline.
Confirm what you must sit
Some pathways require Multiple Choice, Written English, or both. Check your target institution and the current ACER STAT information before building a plan.
Read results as diagnostics
Use section or component performance to choose drills. Avoid converting a single practice score into an admission prediction.
Plan from official dates
Registration windows and delivery modes change. Anchor logistics to ACER, then schedule attempt-first practice in the weeks you actually have.
Try the questions before reviewing the answers
Attempt before reading a model. Diagnose the exact reasoning or writing decision, make one repair and test it on unseen material.
