- Confirm your required STAT component and appointment.
- Check identification, arrival, venue or online-delivery requirements.
- Review permitted items and accessibility arrangements.
Avoid predictable errors
Do not import assumptions into passages, ignore units, spend disproportionate time on one item or force a memorised essay onto a prompt. Practise a move-on threshold before test day.
Reset after difficulty
- Pause.
- Name the current task.
- Find the smallest relevant evidence.
- Act, then continue without replaying the previous item.
Try the questions before reviewing the answers
Attempt before reading a model. Diagnose the exact reasoning or writing decision, make one repair and test it on unseen material.
