Build a paced plan around diagnostics, topic repair and mixed timed sets before your assessment window.
Weeks 1–2: baseline
Attempt mixed theory under time. Tag misses by topic family (protection, cables, earthing, AS/NZS references as applicable to your materials).
Weeks 3–5: repair cycles
- Closed-book drill on one weak family.
- Short review of the governing rule.
- Fresh re-attempt after a delay.
Week 6: mixed rehearsal
Run longer mixed sets, practise move-on rules, and taper volume in the final days while checking ESV logistics.
