What is LANTITE?

LANTITE is ACER’s Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education. It has two separately bookable components — Literacy (65 questions, 120 minutes) and Numeracy (65 questions, 120 minutes) — that ITE students must pass to meet the standard.

Numeracy is mostly calculator-available, but a short non-calculator section (13 of 65 items) locks the on-screen calculator. Practising that section under timed conditions is where many candidates lose marks.
