What is the SQE1 FLK2 format?

FLK2 is one of the two Functioning Legal Knowledge assessments in the SRA’s SQE1. It is delivered as two sittings of 90 single-best-answer (A–E) multiple-choice questions of about 153 minutes each on the same day. FLK2 covers Property Practice, Wills and the Administration of Estates, Solicitors Accounts, Land Law, Trusts, Criminal Law, Criminal Litigation, and Ethics and Professional Conduct.

How is SQE1 FLK2 scored?

Each single-best-answer question is worth one mark for a correct response with no penalty for a wrong answer. Your FLK2 total is aggregated across both sittings on the day and reported by the SRA / Kaplan alongside FLK1.
